McCain Foods has announced plans to open its first frozen french fries production facility in the city of Araxá in Brazil.

The frozen foods maker will invest around $100 million in the new facility, which is expected to open in the first half of 2021.

The new facility will increase McCain’s production capacity in Latin America, and also consolidate its position in the Brazilian market.
