With the new BD 50/50 walk-behind scrubber-drier, Kärcher has introduced a new and compact model to its Classic range.
The machine has been designed so as to make its operation and maintenance particularly easy, and offers an efficient entry-level option for floor cleaning. It is ideal for use in shops, for medical purposes, and for all kinds of communal cleaning.
Thanks to its compact design (one metre high and 0.5 metres wide), the operator has a clear view of the working area and can observe and negotiate obstacles in good time. The machine has a clean water-tank capacity of 50 litres, which allows for up to an hour of uninterrupted cleaning. In addition, since the scrubber-drier takes up so little space, it can be stored easily after use.
The simplicity of operation and maintenance makes the new Classic scrubber-drier really stand out. Scrubbing, vacuuming or polishing can all be activated by a single dial (EASY operation). The BD 50/50's disc brush can be changed easily and safely, thanks to a pedal that locks and releases the brush head, while the battery can be accessed easily and changed in just a few steps. These efficiencies make the machine perfect for shift operation.
Additional equipment such as brushes, scrapers or mops can be stored and carried comfortably with the so-called Homebase, which is available as a panel or as a container. The Classic range from Kärcher consists of particularly robust, powerful devices, characterised by their simple maintenance requirements.
