Aldi Süd Opens 'Largest Outlet Ever' At German Music Festival

Aldi Süd has announced the opening of its largest store to date, which will only be open for five days.

The 2,000 square metre pop-up outlet is located at the Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany, which runs from 21 to 23 June, and features artists such as The Cure, Foo Fighters and Mumford & Sons.

The temporary store will cater for more than 60,000 festival attendees, and will open from 20 to 24 June.

According to Aldi, visitors to the store will be able to find breakfast items as well as bakery stations and a wide range of barbecue dishes and vegetarian alternatives.

Moreover, 16 checkouts ensure short waiting times.

The festival branch includes a walk-in fridge and items that are suitable for different weather conditions, including sunglasses or rain ponchos, as well as sleeping bags, pop-up tents and camping chairs.

Additionally, customers can avail of use shopping trolleys with off-road wheels to transport the purchased products to their tents or have them delivered for a small fee.

Regional firm Donaueschingen assisted with the setting up of the venue, in conjunction with Aldi Süd.
