French supermarket chain Casino has announced that it will no longer sell some Coca-Cola drinks because of a dispute over pricing.
Notices have been placed above their shelves stating this; the notices also encourage consumers to buy Casino's own-brand products instead.
A spokesperson for the company attempted to downplay the decision by stating the Coca-Cola's main products remain on sale.
A few months ago Leader Price, the discount chain of Casino, replaced many Coca-Cola products with those of PepsiCo.
The French branch of Coca-Cola has thus far not made any statement regarding the issue.
