Ardagh Group Gets 'Emotional' With Coca-Cola Campaign

Global packaging company Ardagh Group is featuring 100 different, high resolution photographs on its 25cl shaped aluminium bottles as part of Coca-Cola Europe's 'Taste The Feeling' campaign.

Each image, printed at Ardagh's specialist plant in Beaurepaire, France, is full-scale and high definition, stretching across the entire surface of the bottle.

The photographs evoke 'the idea that drinking any Coca-Cola beverage is a simple pleasure that makes everyday moments more special', said the company. First dates, ice-skating with friends, and other events highlighting the universal 'functional and emotional aspects' of the Coca-Cola brand are featured.

The 'Taste the Feeling' campaign illustrates a change in direction for Coca-Cola Europe's marketing approach, as it will be the first time all of its trademark brands will be promoted together in one global creative campaign.

Marc Bettinger, sales director of aluminium packaging with the metal division of the Ardagh Group, commented: “This is one of the most pleasing of the many recent projects that we have worked on with Coca-Cola Europe. It is a perfect example of the impact that high definition print on a metal surface makes to the bottle, and we are delighted once again to be playing our part in such an important progression of this iconic brand.”
