Ferrero Launches Special-Edition Nutella For Expo

Italian confectionary company Ferrero has launched a limited edition of the popular chocolate spread Nutella on occasion of the Milan 2015 Expo.

The special jars of chocolate and hazelnut spread carry the logo of the World Fair, of which Nutella is official sponsor, plus colourful graphics depicting the most important Italian monuments, from the Roman Colosseum to the Tower of Pisa.

Two formats are available: a 1-kilo jar (suggested retail price, €7.69) and a 200g cup (€2.90). Both have the Nutella and Expo logos printed directly onto the transparent surface – in the multicolour version for the first format, and with chromatic variations for the second.

The introduction of these special packages in retail outlets is accompanied by the launch of the Nutellainexpo web platform. Visitors can take a voyage of discovery about the production and sales process of Nutella, getting acquainted with the seven key ingredients used in the production of the spread.
