Granarolo Launches Milk Bottle Made Of 20% Recycled Plastic

Italian dairy and agro-industrial company Granarolo has launched the first milk bottle in Italy made of 20% recycled plastic.

The new bottles have been developed from used PET milk bottles, which have been separated as part of the recycling process and sanitised in order to convert them into new recycled plastic (rPET) bottles.

The move is a part of the company's efforts to address the problem of plastic pollution, and marks a step towards its goal of reducing plastic packaging and CO2 emissions.

Three different product references are included in the initiative.

New Label

Granarolo has also designed a new label for the bottles, providing information about the recycling process and highlighting the environmental value of the new bottles.
