Obeikan MDF, a specialist in the design and production of sustainable packaging and in-store displays, has made a significant creative effort in the past year and rolled out a range of novel innovations.

The company has expanded its solutions catalogue with the incorporation of new packaging families, such as the SE180 (182x175mm) and SE270 (275x175mm) sales unit packaging line, which are modular with RPC returnable distribution boxes.

It has also launched the 44x30mm format, highly prized for the export and online sale of citrus fruits and medlars.

The company has also added a 40x25mm format and expanded its range of new printing finishes, such as 'gold stamping'.

Elsewhere, Obeikan has added a new generation (4G) of packaging assembly machines to its operations, which feature important innovations in productivity, security, user interface, and ease of use.

For retail outlets, the company has developed a complete range of solutions aimed at in-store promotion.

It combines attractive consumer-oriented sales unit packaging, robust free-standing display units, and eye-catching signage and visual merchandising solutions.

It has also developed a line of organic and biodegradable packaging solutions for the gardening segment, aimed at quality- and environmentally-conscious consumers.

In the food and beverages category, Obeikan offers high-quality packaging solutions that allow for premium differentiation, such as in confectionery, nuts, oil, beverages, etc.

The Valencia-based company has opened new assembly and distribution centres in several countries, including Morocco, France and Turkey, and added new clients in various countries outside of the EU.

Obeikan is also developing projects aimed at the digitisation of the market, such as product cycle management and predictive maintenance, among others.

It has also implemented lean manufacturing methodologies in its industrial facilities.
