Massimo Bongiovanni, Vice President of ANCC/Coop Italia, has been elected as the chairman of the European Community of Consumer Co-operatives (EuroCoop).
At the General Assembly of EuroCoop in Rotterdam, four vice presidents were also elected: Ofer Feinstein (Coop Israel); Juhani Ilmola (Sok Corporation – Finland); Colin MacLeod (Federal Retail & Trade Services – UK) and Jaanus Vihand (Coop Estonia). The president and VPs have been elected for the period 2016-2018.
EuroCoop is a European-wide co-operative association, whose members are the national organisations of consumer co-operatives in 19 European countries.
They represent 4,500 local and regional co-operatives, as well as over 32 million consumers across the continent.
