Orkla Divests Skin Care Business In Poland

Orkla Care Poland has entered into an agreement to sell the company’s skin care business in Poland to Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne Sp. z o. o. Spółka Komandytowa.

Orkla has described the decision as a means of streamlining its portfolio and concentrating all Polish operations on health, wound care, cleaning products, and personal care product categories.

The deal between Orkla and Bielenda covers the Soraya and Dermika brands, 145 employees, and production facilities in Radzymin.

CEO of Orkla Care, Atle Vidar Nagel Johansen said that the sale to Bielenda "will contribute to a more focused and robust Orkla Care Poland".

Bielenda is a family-owned manufacturer and supplier of branded beauty and skin care products. Established in 1990, it is now one of the leading suppliers of branded skin care products in the Polish market.
