Refresco Germany GmbH has opened a new high-bay warehouse in Grünsfeld, following an investment of €13 million.
The new facility will increase the company's logistics efficiency and speed of delivery, the company said in a statement. The warehouse opened on 17 October.
"Thanks to the new facility, we can supply our customers in the food trade even more quickly, said Frank Stratmann, CEO of Refresco Germany GmbH.
The new high-bay warehouse is more environmentally-friendly, with the company stating that it will save the equivalent of around 180,000 truck kilometers on the road annually, and reduce CO2 emissions emissions by more than 125,000 kilograms.
