AliExpress Renews Partnership With Correos In Spain

Alibaba’s international e-commerce platform AliExpress has renewed its partnership with Correos to help small and medium-sized companies in Spain to boost the sales of their brands across the globe, reports europapress.es.

The partnership between the companies dates back to 2015, and according to AliExpress CEO, Wang Mingqiang, the alliance is aimed at improving the logistical efficiency of the two groups' e-commerce capabilities, and pave the way for Spanish SMEs to step-up exports.

Better Operations

Delivery time has been one of the handicaps that the Asian multinational e-commerce giant has been facing.

This has led AliExpress to focus on improving cross-border logistics alongside Correos, in order to speed up the delivery of products arriving from outside Spain.

According to Wang Mingqiang, Spain is a ‘strategic market’ through which the company offers good, value-for-money products from local and cross-border markets.

AliExpress will help merchants in developing systems and tools that will facilitate operations, and help them in connecting with consumers in order to understand their preferences, and improve brand loyalty, the report said.
