Austrian retailer Billa, which is part of Rewe Group, has launched a new app, 'Mein Billa', which is aimed at the company's 18,400 employees.
Using the app, employees can avail of special offers and promotions, take part in seminars, avail of training opportunities and manage parental leave, as well as avail of a digital version of their employee card.
'With the Mein Billa app, we are able to write a new chapter in internal communications and strengthen the community spirit,' a Billa statement said.

The app enables employees to avail of discounts in all Billa, Merkur, Bipa and Penny stores, as well as in the group's Mercury restaurants and the Rewe Austria Touristik service.
"With the Mein Billa app we have managed to create a user-friendly tool that facilitates our staff in their daily lives and strengthens the community. The Mein Billa app is therefore a real milestone for us, which we will continue to develop in the future," said Billa CEO Josef Siess.
