Dixy Group Implements Electronic Workflow System To Reduce Paperwork

Russia’s Dixy Group has implemented an electronic workflow system with its suppliers, in a bid to reduce paperwork and improve efficiency at the group.

The solution follows on from the introduction of EDI technology at the retailer some five years ago, and, in the years since, it has developed an electronic document exchange to support logistics and stock-movement processes.

The introduction of an e-workflow system is likely to reduce costs at the group by as much as 1 million roubles per month.

“Electronic workflow allows us to automate and accelerate data interchange with our partners,” commented Sergey Belyakov, vice-president for economy and finance of Dixy Group.

“Primary accounting documents will be saved in a unified electronic database and will be accessible for the parties any time, which will ensure extra transparency of transactions.”
