Tesco Extends Scan As You Shop Service To 20 New Stores

Tesco has announced that it will further extend its Scan as You Shop service to 20 more stores across the UK, resulting in the total number of stores employing this service rising to nearly 350.

The scanning service allows customers to tally their items as they conduct their shopping and keep an eye on their spending amount.

A Tesco spokesperson said, “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to shop with us. Scan as You Shop is already used by over 600,000 customers every week, and it not only saves time at the checkout, it enables customers to track their spend as they go, too.

“This new trial will mean more customers than ever before can benefit from the service and check out in a matter of seconds.”
