  • Brain Corp, a leading supplier of robotics technology, continues to scale as retailers increasingly turn to robotic solutions to support employee productivity.

The company saw a 300% increase in revenue last year, which was fuelled by a surge in interest for its BrainOS-powered cleaning machines. Current customers include major retailers such as Walmart, which more than quadrupled the number of robotic floor scrubbers it uses across its operations.

Brain Corp now provides the intelligent backend for one of the largest fleets of its kind in the world, with approximately 10,000 robots deployed or enabled globally.

    Next-Generation Mobile Robots

“A growing number of retailers are turning to next-generation mobile robots to drive better productivity and improved customer experiences within their physical stores,” commented Scott Carter, chief operating officer at Brain Corp.

“Last year was a landmark year for our customers and the retail robotics industry. We are looking forward to working with our strategic partners to accelerate and lead this trend in 2020.”

    European Headquarters

Last year, the business expanded its international operations with the opening of Brain Corp Europe in Amsterdam.

“We chose Amsterdam as Brain Corp’s European headquarters primarily for its central location, open business environment, prevalence of academic labs, and proven commitment to the cultivation of a robust AI and robotics ecosystem,” said Christian Cornelius-Knudsen, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services.

The main focus of the European headquarters is to provide increased support to regional partners, ensuring the successful rollout of robotic cleaning solutions powered by BrainOS, the company's cloud-connected commercial operating system.
