Italy’s Packaging-Free Negozio Leggero Expands To France
Negozio Leggero, an Italian retail chain which offers products in bulk without packaging, will open its first franchised store in Paris on 23 June.
Negozio Leggero was created in Turin in 2009 by the environmental research organisation Ecologos, and is managed by social enterprise Rinova Ltd.
The retailer has 15 franchise stores, most of them located in Italy’s Piedmont and Lombardy regions, as well as two in Rome, one in Palermo and one in Switzerland (Lugano).
