Lenta Opens Fourteenth Hypermarket In Moscow

Russian retailer Lenta has announced that it is opening its fourteenth hypermarket in the capital city Moscow.

The outlet, located in Kolomna, will be spread over an area of 8,225 square metres, operating seven days a week from 8am to 11pm.

The store features a specific assortment of 17,500 SKUs, designed for Kolomna residents, including Lenta’s private labels and federal product ranges. The outlet is also equipped with 300 parking spaces and 27 cash registers.

In July, it was announced that the retailer had signed an agreement for long-term leases of hypermarkets around Moscow currently operated under the Nash banner, which will see Lenta taking over 14 hypermarkets in the city and its surrounding areas.

This new outlet is Lenta's tenth hypermarket opening in 2017. The retailer now has 201 hypermarkets in 79 cities across Russia and 64 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and the Central region.
