Geo-Localised Supermarket Offers Arrive in Portugal

The Tiendeo online platform and app, grouping together digitalised and geolocalised catalogues and weekly ads of major retailers, has arrived in Portugal.

Tiendeo was created in Spain four years ago and currently has more than 18 million unique monthly users. It is present in 31 countries, with Portugal, Chile and Peru the latest additions.

Weekly paper catalogues and brochures of the main retail shops and supermarkets (Aldi, Continente, Coviran, E.Leclerc, Intermarché, Jumbo, Lidl, Meu Super, Makro, Minipreço, Pingo Doce) can now be accessed and geolocated by mobile phone, allowing customers to find offers close to home or work.

The user selects the city and Tiendeo features all offers and coupons available at the closest points. Consumers can also search by product/category, or use the map to locate the nearest store.

The Tiendo app is completely free of charge and can be downloaded for Android and iPhone/iPad devices.
