Migros Marketing Manager To Resign

Migros Marketing Dir. Oskar Sager is to give up his post as of 31 December for health reasons. Sager, who suffered a heart attack last spring, will take on new responsibilities within Migros from 2014. His successor will be appointed over the coming months.

"Oskar Sager has successfully developed and implemented the overall strategy of the cooperative retail, the product range and pricing strategy but also for the sustainability strategy and marketing communications," Herbert Bolliger, Migros CEO said.

He added, "At the same time under his direction all the stores were repositioned. For his outstanding dedication and excellent work, I thank him very much."
