The eastern-Switzerland division of Swiss retailer Migros has revealed plans to open its first 'MFIT' fitness centre in the city of St. Gallen in the autumn of 2017.
The centre will be located at the Silberturm building, in the eastern part of the city. It will be the eleventh fitness centre run by Migros Ostschweiz (eastern Switzerland).
"We are delighted that we will have a centre in the canton's capital. The MFIT Silberturm will be a very nice addition to our existing network," said Vinzenz Keller, Head of MFIT of Migros Ostschweiz.
The location already features a Migros supermarket and a Denner and Digitec branch; a snack bar and bistro area will be added to the new fitness centre.
