Turkey-based retailer Migros Ticaret has posted a 12.7 per cent increase in revenues to TRL6.48 billion for full year 2012.
The retailer saw gross profits jump 14.1 per cent to TRL1.7 billion and EBIDTA was up 8 per cent to TRL430 million.
166 new stores were added to Migros Ticaret’s network of hypermarkets and supermarkets, with its branches totalling 882 overall. The retailer aims to keep up this rate of expansion in 2013, with plans to open between 100 and 150 new supermarkets and up to 3 hypermarkets during the year. (9 April)
