Kelleher To Step Down As SuperValu Managing Director

The managing director of Ireland's SuperValu and Centra businesses, Martin Kelleher, is stepping down from his role, according to reports.

The Irish Times reported that Kelleher, who has worked for 24 years with Musgrave Group, which operates SuperValu and Centra, is set to leave the business.

According to a statement seen by the paper, responsibility for the Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland business is to be handed over to marketing chief Ray Kelly.

Kelleher is due to leave Musgrave in August. He took over as managing director of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland in 2010.

Musgrave Group recently announced the appointment of a new chief executive, with Noel Keeley taking over from long-serving former CEO Chris Martin.
