Tom Albold will take the reins at Mars Petcare's German business from 1 October 2013. The 42-year-old succeeds Loïc Moutalt at the helm of the petcare company, as Moutalt takes over the management of Mars subsidiary Royal Canin in the Asia-Pacific region. In his new position at Mars, Albold will report directly to the head of Europe at Mars Petcare, Jan van Bon.
Albold joins from Danone Waters, where he held the position of general manager for Germany. He began his career at Proctor & Gamble, holding several senior positions during his 14 years at the company. (25 June)
