Norma Group Expects 2016 Sales Increase To Continue

Norma Group, an internationally trading German manufacturer of joining-technology solutions, has shown solid growth in the first half of 2016. Compared with the same period last year, sales rose by 1.9 percent to €462.8 million between January and June 2016. In the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), sales in the first six months of 2016 increased by 7.1%, to €227.3 million.

Economic recovery and a healthy order book within the European automotive industry have been suggested as possible reasons for the positive trend.

"We can look back on a good first half in 2016 ," said Werner Deggim, CEO of NORMA Group. " The result and the Group's organic growth was in line with our expectations. Despite the little dynamic macroeconomic environment and negative currency effects, we are satisfied with the business in the first six months of the year".

Norma Group was founded in 2006. It currently employs 6,435 people, counting temporary staff.
