British grocer Asda has launched its first ever line of own-brand baby food under its Little Angels brand. The new range of baby products were produced using recipes developed by dietician Jane Stobie, and use, according to the creator, "gentle spices such as cinnamon and cumin in recipes like cottage pie – it gives a depth of flavor and sweetness."
Made from 100 per cent organic ingredients, the selections offer combinations such as carrot, swede and sweet potato; apple, banana and mango; and shepherd's pie. The baby food is packed in squeezable pouches to make life easier for busy parents. (2 Mar)
