Ardagh Designs New Limited-Edition Absolut Bottle

Packaging firm Ardagh has designed a new, limited-edition bottle for Absolut Vodka, for the Absolut Facet variant.

The new blue bottle has been cut like a gem, which creates a number of facets that catch the light in different ways.

“With the Absolut Facet limited-edition bottle, we want to celebrate the unexpected and encourage people be open to the different journeys [on which] a night could take you," commented Gaia Gilardini, global communications director of Absolut.

"Bringing such a complex design into volume production required painstaking and very detailed preparation, as did replicating the colour to the highest degree of consistency across the complex design and to the required wall thickness."

Absolut Facet will be launched in Amsterdam later this month.
