Coca-Cola is showing its support for marriage equality ahead of Australia's postal survey on the issue, with a new, limited-edition design for its 375ml cans.
The design features the word 'love' in the traditional Coca-Cola script, with two hearts, one of which is filled with a rainbow.
“Equality and diversity are hugely important to who we are as a brand and as a company," said Jacqui O'Donnell, marketing manager for Coca-Cola South Pacific.
"The idea was a very simple but powerful and locally relevant way to support everyone who drinks, distributes and sells our brand," said O'Donnell.
Ian Swanson, Coca-Cola’s South Pacific design lead, added that this was "an opportunity to use our iconic packaging to express a simple, strong, critical idea”.
