Coca-Cola First To Use Tetra Pak TGA Leaf Carton

Coca-Cola Hellenic, Europe’s leading manufacturer of beverages owned by The Coca-Cola Company, announced on Wednesday (5 Dec) that it is to engage in the first worldwide deployment of Tetra Pak's Tetra Gemina Aseptic (TGA) Leaf for Coca-Cola’s Dobry juice range in Russia.

The TGA Leaf is the latest innovation within the Tetra Gemina Aseptic product family, building on the functionality of the TGA Square package. TGA Leaf maintains the key attributes of TGA Square, such as its gable top, which the company says is designed to achieve the best possible product flow and gives the carton an elegant look. The new TGA Leaf package has additional four leaf-shaped panels and comes in a 1000ml package size, for use in the home.

Tetra Pak reports that consumer research conducted in Russia and Spain in 2012 showed a high rating for the TGA Leaf in visual appeal, environmental performance and functionality - easy to open, pour and re-close, compared to similar packages.

Charles Brand, Tetra Pak vice president, marketing and product management, said, “The TGA Leaf is an example of how our deep market insight, continuous innovation and collaboration with customers leads to the development of packaging solutions that meet both customer and consumer needs.” (7 Dec)
