Coca-Cola Launches Glacéau Rugby World Cup Themed Bottle

Coca-Cola Enterprises has launched 600ml and 850ml bottles with Rugby World Cup 2015 branding.

According to packagingnews.co.uk, the limited edition bottles are part of the drink giant's marketing campaign (#RugbyDistilled) for Glacéau smartwater to support the brand's status as Official Water Supplier to Rugby World Cup 2015.

Bottles of Glacéau smartwater will be up for grabs on match days during Rugby World Cup 2015 in London locations such as Wembley and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and in St. James’ Park in Newcastle as well as at train stations in both cities.

Caroline Cater, operational marketing director at Coca-Cola Enterprises, told Packagingnews.co.uk, "Glacéau smartwater has been well received by retailers and consumers alike since its launch last year, and its association with Rugby World Cup 2015 promises to place it at the forefront of the public consciousness.

"By launching #RugbyDistilled, we’re looking to support retailers by putting together a compelling campaign which will urge consumers to trial Glacéau smartwater.”
