ECR Community Announces Self-Checkout Workshop In London

The ECR Community Shrinkage and OSA Group has announced details of a retailer-only workshop on self-checkout, taking place in London on 11 and 12 February.

The workshop, which is aimed at retail professionals involved in store operations, loss prevention, checkout management, product management and customer experience, will feature top level speakers and insight from across the retail spectrum.

More than thirty retail organisations have already registered for the two-day event.

Day one will see presentations from leading retail technology providers including Modern-Expo, ITAB and NCR, a session featuring  academics and designers from the University of Arts, as well as a speed dating event aimed at connecting retailers with pioneering firms in the world of self-checkout.

Day two will see leading retail and wholesale representatives, from Tesco, Metro AG and Aldi, take to the stage to share their insights on the challenges and opportunities in the self-checkout industry.

The invitation-only workshop, titled 'Driving Innovation in the Design, Use and Control of Retail Self-Checkouts', takes place at Goodenough College, in Bloomsbury, central London.
