Fanta Aims To Drive Sales With Halloween Packs

British Coke bottler Coca?Cola Enterprises Ltd (CCE) is introducing limited edition themed packs of Fanta this Halloween in a bid to help retailers drive seasonal soft drink sales.

According to CCE, Halloween is currently the third most popular spending occasion in the UK after Christmas and Easter. 'With volume of soft drinks sales increasing by 4% in the lead?up to the occasion last year , the limited edition packs are designed to be a popular 'treat', particularly with at?home celebrations', CCE said.

"Seasonal occasions such as Halloween that bring people together provide a great opportunity to boost soft drink sales and the limited edition Fanta packs will help to position the brand as the soft drinks brand of choice at Halloween," Nick Canney, VP Sales & Marketing at Coca?Cola Enterprises Ltd said.

Available from the end of September, the packs will feature Halloween?themed graphics on 2L, 6 and 8 x 330ml multi?pack formats across Fanta Orange, Orange Zero, Icy Lemon and Fruit Twist SKUs and 2L Red Fruits. Multi?packs will include inserts with spooky decoration ideas and Fanta punch recipes, while the 2L packs will feature Halloween tips and tricks inside promotional labels.
