The Dublin-based Multiprint Labels has been wholly acquired by the Ohio based Multi-Color Corporation.
Multiprint specialises in pressure-sensitive beverage labels for Ireland and the UK. It has annual revenues of approximately $7 million.
Multi-Color provides labels for some of the world's most popular brands, including producers of home and personal care, wine and spirits, food and beverages and speciality consumer products.
Multiprint has common markets, technologies and supply chain with Multi-Color's UK operation, which is based in Glasgow.
Multiprint will continue to be run by the Irish manager John Woods who will report to Multi-Color's UK president, Alex Mulvenny.
