Pam Panorama Rolls Out Urban Store Format In Italy

Grocery retailer Pam Panorama has rolled out a new urban proximity store format, Pam City, in Italy.

The first store opened in Rome’s GranRoma shopping mall and offers customers a welcoming and sustainable space in terms of quality, comfort, and convenience.

Urban Store

Open until 10pm each night, Pam City aims to cater to the needs of urban customers offering a wide range of snacks and ready meals available in its Food to Go, Gastronomy and Rosticceria sections.

The assortment comprises local products such as fruit, vegetables, meats and cheeses to support small and medium local businesses.

The new store also offers the retailer’s private-label brands Pam Panorama, Bio Pam Panorama, Veg&Veg, and Semplici e Buoni.

There are more than 200 references of 100% Italian origin, of which over 100 have acquired PDO, PGI and DOCG certification.

Continuous Convenience

Under the 'Prezzo Promessa' initiative, Pam City stores offer daily essentials at a low price all year round.

Customers can also avail home delivery services, and pay through Satispay or Apple Pay for a smarter shopping experience.

The launch of the first Pam City store coincides with the opening of the 100th Pam Local outlet, which has proven to be one of the retailer’s most successful formats since its launch in 2013.

Mobile bank N26 has implemented its Cash26 service in 126 stores operated by Pam Panorama including supermarkets, superstores, and hypermarkets, enabling consumers to deposit or withdraw cash directly from their accounts at the retail outlet.

Temporary Store

Earlier this month, Pam Panorama opened its first temporary store, located at Turin’s Porta Nuova railway station.

The temporary store, which will remain open until 6 June, aims to promote the banner’s private-label brands, such as Bio Pam Panorama and Semplici e Buoni.

Also present are Fresche Bontà, Pam Panorama and Arkalia Bio.

The temporary store has a 'Food to Go' area which hosts special initiatives, such as tastings that are open to all.
