Craft brewer Magic Rock has teamed up with Rexam to move its Cannonball, High Wire Grapefruit and Salty Kiss beers from glass bottles to cans.
Rexam has described the designs for Magic Rock’s cans as “playful” and “captivating”, to reflect the brewer’s identity, while the incorporation of the Metal Recycles Forever logo underlines the brand’s dedication to sustainability.
The managing director at Magic Rock, Richard Burhouse, described working with Rexam as a collaborative and effective experience.
“The graphics and design centre at Luton enabled us to understand the full design and manufacturing process, and the proofing session was invaluable,” he said.
“We’re really pleased with the final designs, and are proud to be one of the first UK craft brewers to adopt the Metal Recycles Forever logo, showcasing our commitment to sustainability as a business.”
Rogier Keukens, UK sales manager at Rexam, commented, “Supporting craft brewers such as Magic Rock is a rewarding and exciting process.

The 33cl Magic Rock cans, made in Rexam’s Wakefield plant, are set to be available online and through specialist craft-beer retailers.
