Smurfit Kappa UK further solidified its position as one of the leaders of the paper-based packaging industry with two awards – Resource Efficient Pack of the Year, and Supply Chain Solution of the Year at the 2014 UK Packaging Awards.
Speaking at the awards ceremony held at London’s Park Lane Hilton, Clive Bowers, CEO of Smurfit Kappa UK Corrugated, said "We pride ourselves on bringing new ideas to our customers by using various tools to gain invaluable insights, and ultimately helping our customers sell more.

Winner of the Resource Efficient Pack of the Year was Smurfit Kappa’s transit carton solution for private label chilled food manufacturer Bakkavor.
The recipient of the prestigious Supply Chain Solution of the Year Award was the company's Internet Dispatch Pack, which removes the need for trimming or using blades to customise boxes.
