UNI Packaging Invests £1.5 Million Into UK Operation

French company UNI Packaging has committed £1.5 million to invest in its UK-based flexible-packaging manufacturer Arteb Printing.

The production site, based in St. Helen's, Lancashire, will be rebranded as UNI Packaging St. Helen's, according to PackagingNews.co.uk. The investment includes a number of newly installed machinery.

“We have a growing market share in this country, and with the resources across the group, we can operate on a different level to other flexible-packaging companies, allowing us to give our customers a consistently high level of service at every stage,” said UNI Packaging’s UK managing director, Rod Entwistle.

The new machinery will allow for shorter runs, faster response times and higher print quality.
