Piotr i Paweł Anticipating Online Sales Of PLN100m By End Of 2018
Polish retailer Piotr i Paweł has said that it expects sales through its online channel to rise to as much as PLN 100 million (€23.7 million) by the end of next year, following anticipated sales of PLN 75 million this year.
Maciej Stoiński, the company’s director general, said that the company remains committed to growing its online channel, which current accounts for around 3% of the retailer’s total revenue, reports Polish industry publication Wiadomości Handlowe.
In Warsaw, the company’s online channel accounts for 9% of its sales, a figure that Stoiński is confident the company can grow in the coming years.
Overall, Piotr i Paweł expects a sales increase of 7% this year, however like-for-like sales and EBITDA are expected to be flat, due to some store cannibalisation.
