Aldi Teams Up With Fitness Influencer To Launch Sports Range
German discounter Aldi has teamed up with fitness influencer Sophia Thiel to launch an exclusive sports clothing collection.
From 29 April, the collection, which includes 24 different SKUs, will be available in branches of Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd, throughout Germany.
For Aldi Nord, it marks the first collaboration with Sophia Thiel, but Aldi Süd has worked with the fitness guru in the past.
The collection includes patterned leggings, tops, shirts and sneakers, as well as bikinis and flip-flops.
Moreover, Sophia Thiel is also offering tips on training and nutrition via Aldi's online and social-media channels.
The 24-year-old is well known for her training and workout videos on YouTube. She has more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram and also publishes a magazine.
“I am delighted to be able to reach even more fitness enthusiasts through the cooperation with Aldi Süd, and now also with Aldi Nord,” Thiel commented.
According to Thiel, the new sports line should prove appealing to shoppers due to its low prices and trendy designs.
