French retailer Casino will sell its ‘Le Meilleur d’Ici’ regional produce range in more French regions following the completion of its trial. The range was introduced to seven supermarkets and three hypermarkets in the Rhône-Alpes region in June; there are 350 SKUs in the fresh produce and dry grocery range.
Casino will now offer the range in the Normandie, Isère, Drôme and Ardèche regions of France for three months. Casino plans to have ‘Le Meilleur d’Ici’ in 38 outlets by the end of 2011. (27 Oct) © 2011 - ESM: European Supermarket Magazine
