Coop Switzerland has launched three new seasonings in its Fine Food line, which are meant to accompany beef, lamb, and fish dishes.
The retailer says that the new spices will provide an alternative option for customers ahead of Christmas, instead of using traditional seasonal flavours such as vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
The smokey beef seasoning contains salt harvested in Cyprus, which is combined with with rosemary, oregano, cumin and mustard seeds to enhance beef dishes.
The oriental lamb features a flowery perfume, thanks to the presence of cumin, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, chill peppers and hand-dried rose petals.
Finally, the sea spices seasoning contains sea salt enriched with algae, blueberry blossoms and cubeb pepper, which adds a spicy note to fish and seafood dishes.
