Eroski Launches 'Eroski Cooking' Range

Eroski has launched a new easy-to-cook range, 'Eroski Cooking' at the Basque Culinary Centre in San Sebastian, Spain. Eroski's new range includes fish, meat and pastas which can be combined with a range of various side dishes and sauces, allowing the consumer to create different meals and tastes as desired.
According to the retailer, the Eroski Cooking range offers 'endless' combination possibilities, allowing the consumer to decide how they want to prepare the dish. 'Each product is presented separately and all combinations are possible. Furthermore, sauces and side dishes can also complement other homemade dishes', Eroski said. All of the options are free from preservatives and artificial colours.
The Eroski Cooking main course options include pasta with basil, chicken thigh stuffed with ham, rosemary chicken breast, steamed hake, cod confit and grilled salmon. These can either be eaten alone or supplemented with other sauces and additions from the range. The list of side dishes includes vegetable stir fry, rice with shrimp and potato carbonara, with salsa verde; port and mushroom sauce, tomato sauce, cheese sauce and curry sauce to accompany the dishes. The retailer has also launched a website to coincide with the launch, www.eroskicooking.es, which provides detailed information to the consumer, along with inspiration for further options, through video recipes, tips and product information. 'Eroski Cooking' will initially be available in nine Basque Eroski stores, with the range to be extended to further stores throughout the year. (11 June)
