UK supermarket Sainsbury’s has produced a new range to appeal to aspiring chefs. The new range of frozen products is called Ingredients for Cooks.
The product line offers chopped vegetables, chopped herbs and spices, and ready-to-bake pastry dishes. The range, which is priced from £1, includes frozen cubes of chopped herbs, spices e.g. chilli, coriander, garlic, ginger and pesto. Frozen ready vegetables (e.g. chopped onions, chopped plum tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, and mixed sliced peppers) are also available in the range.
Frozen items includes Ready to Roll Shortcrust Pastry with ricotta, Chargrilled Mediterranean Vegetables, ready-to-bake Croissants and Pain au Chocolat. (18 Apr)
