Tesco Private-Label Easter Egg Rated Best By Good Housekeeping

A private-label Easter egg by Tesco, the Chokablok King of Eggs Billionaire's Dynamite Easter Egg, has been rated the best on the UK market by GoodHousekeeping.co.uk.

The product, which scored 85 out of 100 in the annual Easter-egg assessment, weighs 650g, at 21 centimetres tall. It retails at £10.

Good Housekeeping describes it as a 'creamy milk-chocolate shell covered with chocolate-coated shortcake biscuit, honeycomb pieces and chewy caramel fudge. It's truly indulgent and a real crowd-pleaser.'

Ocado’s Stas Chocolatier Sweetie Egg was runner-up, with 78. It is 700g in weight and retails at £19.99. Good Housekeeping describes it as 'an enormous 700g handmade milk-chocolate egg decorated with white-chocolate swirls and sweets. Makes an impressive centrepiece, and the chocolate itself is rich and delicious.'

Tesco’s Chocolate Mega Egg Hunt and Marks & Spencer’s Percy, Penny & Piglets each scored 65 per cent.
