Tuodi Launches First New Store Format In 25 Years

Italian supermarket chain Tuodi has launched its first new store format in over 25 years of operation.

The new outlet in Viale Oceano Atlantico in Rome features the Tuodi Maxi banner and is part of the retailer's network of 65 stores in Rome and the Lazio region.

The new Tuodi Maxi store has a sales area of over 1,500 square metres and provides a wide assortment of products in the maxi and multiple pack formats.

The concept was developed by the brothers Tonino and Massimiliano Faranda to offer customers fresh and affordable products.

The new store has dedicated 150 square metres to the fruit and vegetable department, which guarantees maximum freshness and quality of its products.

The same applies to the butcher's and fishmonger's departments, which focus on local culture and production.

The wine shop extends over 50 square metres, with more than 2,000 products on store shelves and a selection of 1,300 Italian labels and 700 labels of spirits and liqueurs, both national and international, carefully selected by experts.

Discount retail chain Tuodi is part of Gruppo TUO, an Italian holding company that operates in the beverages, catering, and the large-scale distribution sector through its subsidiaries. It also owns the Italian supermarket chains InGrande and Fresco Market.
