Agrokor Group Announces New CEO Of Oil Producer Zvijezda

Croation retailer Agrokor Group has announced that Krešimir Lokas has become the new CEO of Zvijezda d.d., the largest producer of edible oils in the country.

Former CEO Goran Kramarić is moving to the position of executive director of export, responsible for all group companies.

Lokas joined Zvijezda in the controlling department in 2010, becoming the head of the division in 2015. He was responsible for business analysis, reporting, and controlling strategies for management.

He has an MBA degree in finance and accounting, and graduated from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management.

Zvijezda makes its own products but also distributes items such as ketchup, vinegar, pumpkin oil, condiments, and canned vegetables. Other products include Belje and Livno cheeses and Dijamant and Zott products.

The Agrokor Group is the largest private employer in Croatia, with almost 60,000 employers and an annual income of almost €6.5 billion.
