Albert Heijn Offers Support To Employees Studying For Final Exams

Dutch retailer Albert Heijn is offering employees that are are about to sit their exams a range of vouchers, which enables them to avail of online exam training for free.

The vouchers give free access to seven subject covered in the ‘Exam For You’ initiative developed by Dutch university lecturers, which offer short video clips explaining exam questions from previous years, and invites students to ask questions online.

Graduates in The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Amsterdam who work for Albert Heijn can also avail of vouchers to pay for a year’s library membership and attend tutorials with mock exams, held at the library, for free.

Cees van Vliet, director of retail and distribution, said: “The combination of work experience and a diploma make for a perfect start on the labour market. We already offer work experience, but it is equally important to help our 8,000 colleagues to graduate well, through exam- guidance and tutorials.”
