The Aldi Süd Group has been awarded first place in the 'food retail category' of the 'Best Recruiters' survey, for the exemplary manner in which it treats its applicants. In the overall ranking, the group came seventh - out of 1500 companies from Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
"We are very happy about this great success," said Anja Koenigstein, Manager HR Marketing, receiving the golden 'Best Recruiters Seal' at an award ceremony in Frankfurt. She continued, "The recipe for success is authentic, target-audience oriented and up-to-date communication. We aim to represent the complete Aldi Süd - ordinary, responsible and customer-oriented. In this way it is possible to find exactly those candidates who are the right fit for the Retail Group."
The survey "Best Recruiters" is the largest of its kind in Germany. It examines the recruiting practice of top employers. Assessment criteria include online recruiting strategies, such as an online jobsboard and the way companies handle applications and feedback. The survey analyses employers from the perspective of applicants and from an academic perspective.
