Brown-Forman Appoints New Marketing Director For Germany, Czech Republic

Brown-Forman Corporation, the parent of Jack Daniel's, has announced the appointment of Tanja Steffen as its new marketing director for Germany and the Czech Republic, effective 1 January 2020.

Most recently, Steffen served as the head of Jack Daniel’s Trademark Germany, and played an important role in the success of the division.

Before joining the spirits giant, she spent several years in Unilever and Good Mills in national and international marketing and sales roles.

Steffen will succeed Mirja Kloss, who has been named the global brand director of Jack Daniel’s Flavors. She will report to the global managing director of Jack Daniel’s brands, Sophia Angelis.

Kloss joined Brown-Forman in March of 2014 and was responsible for leading the brand and trade marketing team in Germany and the Czech Republic.

She also has several years' worth of experience in national and international marketing roles in Unilever, Weleda, and Silversea Cruises.
