Carrefour Opens New 'Express' Stores In Brussels Train Stations

Carrefour Belgium has opened two new Carrefour Express convenience stores in metro and train stations in Brussels.

One is located in the city's Delta metro station, while the other is in the Gare de l'Ouest mainline train station. Both stores are managed by former Carrefour employees, who have now become franchisees.

Store Features

The new Carrefour Express stores both feature a wide selection of ready-to-eat meal solutions, as well as fresh meat and vegetables. In terms of food-to-go, the stores offer fresh orange juice, bread, pastries, freshly-made sandwiches, coffee, and soup, as well as essential grocery and pharmacy items.

In an effort to target commuters, the stores will have extensive opening hours, from 6am to 8pm or 10pm, seven days a week.
